Torim's First Health Fair

TORIM HEALTH TEAM PRAISE REPORT ON 2013 HEALTH FAIR
We really thank God for being our foundation and anchor as a ministry. Last year the Health team organized community health fair which was held at the church hall. We saw Gods victory because the day started early and by 1000 the young and old in our community started coming through the doors and ready to be taught and upgraded on how to better their lives and prevent diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure , stroke a heart attack and how to prevent flu. During the fair I couldn’t keep my eyes off one table where we had Samuel who is a registered nurse and a member of the Torim health team was teaching on Air obstruction and everybody wanted to touch the mannequin and practice. I also recall a couple that came in and the husband had been diagnosed with diabetes and was very anxious stating that he didn’t want to have stroke and other diseases like high blood pressure, his eyes opened wide when he was informed it’s possible to prevent all the above. He looked more relaxed and asked for all the brochures to include the FAST – stroke recognition magnet sticker which he said he was going to make sure all the family including grandmother’s fridge had one. The EMS was not left behind and we had Rescue 6 who reminded everybody about fire risks and dangers. The children had a tour of the fire truck and it was fun.We thank every company and individuals who participated to include Dr. A sobo, ENA El Paso chapter, Hospice El Paso, Delsol women’s and teens educators, Mr. Rogers from Dr. Elejes office, Jojo the clown for making the kids feel comfortable and beautiful and the Torim health team for all your hard work and dedication. We shall be holding another health fair this year and we shall have free flu shots for all, please check our website for more information. God bless all and always remember 3 John:2 –“beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”.
Torim's First Anniversary

TORIM 1ST ANNIVESARY PRAISE REPORT
We thank God for the victory He has given since we started last year. It has been wonderful to see the ministry and church grow not only in volume but more in members commitment to God and dedication to Gods work, may God bless all.On the 29th September 2013 it was all praises and dancing as the congregation celebrated the ministry’s 1st anniversary. The doors opened early and church members and guests started arriving as early as 0900 ready to give glory and honor to God for the great work and success seen in the year 2013. Our guests came from all over the city, neighboring churches, pastors and even friends from las cruses were not left behind. The Pastor and founder of the Torim ministries and his family were there early too and ready to share with the congregation what God is able to do. Pastor James also ministered the word and encouraged members to seek God and desire to walk in the presence of God. His wife Margaret also emphasized on what God has done and the church’s accomplishments during the year. The ministry also launched the website that day and we thank God for Rufus who is a member of the church for his commitment in developing the website. He had time to walk the congregation through the website and it was a joy just watching the beautiful site. Please visit the church website on www.torimchurch.org and get refreshed. The praise and worship team played it really well to include Swahili praise and worship songs which were very powerful. The church kids group well known as “mini-Angels” was not left behind and they danced with all their energy as they adorned their Torim t-shirts. The occasion was concluded with a feast and everyone enjoyed eating together as people listened to music and testimonies from the congregation. The cake was great and had the writing ‘Ebenezer “on it which reminds all of us that it is the lord who has brought us this far. 1sam 7:12.As a church and ministry we glorify God for his faithfulness, we have seen His glory and we shall continue to love and serve him with all our hearts. Thank you all for gracing this occasion, God bless and keep all safe in him.
